Rzut Piotra Stelmacha wraz z końcową syreną spotkania dał zwycięstwo Zastalowi Zielona Góra nad Energą Czarnymi Słupsk 78:77 w czwartym meczu ćwierćfinału play-off Tauron Basket Ligi. W innym spotkaniu AZS Koszalin niespodziewanie pokonał Asseco Prokom Gdynia 87:72. O ostatecznych wynikach tych dwóch serii zadecydują mecze numer 5, które odbędą się w środę 2 maja.

Four seconds to the end in the game in Słupsk, Energa Czarni were winning by one after Zbigniew Białek’ three-pointer. This score would mean they are in the semifinals. But it did not happen! Zastal got the last ball. Piotr Stelmach got it and managed to make a lay-up with the buzzer. The whole game was very close – the guests had an advantage in rebounds and played great defence. Kirk Archibeque was the best player on the court, finishing the game with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Stanley Burrell had 23 points and 7 rebounds for Energa Czarni.

The score in Koszalin was sensational again – AZS won for the second time with the defending champions. LaMont McIntosh did not play in this game, as he has broken his hand. The key to the victory was the third quarter, won by the hosts 27:17. Five AZS players had double figures in scoring. George Reese was the most effective, with 18 points. Jerel Blassingame had 12 points for Asseco Prokom.
