Środa w play-off: PGE Turów i Trefl remisują

Zespoły PGE Turowa i Trefla doprowadziły do wyrównania w swoich seriach ćwierćfinału play-off. Zgorzelczanie pokonali we Włocławku Anwil 85:63, a najlepszymi zawodnikami byli David Jackson i Daniel Kickert, którzy rzucili po 19 punktów. Sopocianie z kolei wygrali ze Śląskiem Wrocław 86:77, a 23 punkty zdobył Filip Dylewicz.

PGE Turów beat Anwil mainly thanks to the second quarter, which they won 27:11. The guests had eight three-pointers only in the first half of the game. PGE Turów was rebounding better and the leaders – Daniel Kickert and David Jackson played effective – they shot 19 points. On the other hand, it was a weak game for Anwil leaders – Krzysztof Szubarga, Dardan Berisha and Corsley Edwards. John Allen shot 14 points for the hosts.

Trefl Sopot started their game with Śląsk Wrocław leading 11:2. Later they were winning even 25:11 after Filip Dylewicz’ shot (this stron forward had 16 points only in the first quarter). The second quarter was better for the guests, who improved their defence and were even leading in this part of the game. This did not last long. Trefl won the third quarter 24:14 and controlled the situation on the court to the end. Robert Skibniewski and Paul Graham had 14 points for Śląsk.
