It was a big surprise for all the fans in Tarnobrzeg. AZS Politechnika playedy really tough defence on the last quarter of the game and it helped them to win. Four minutes to the end a three-poniter made by Marek Popiołek got the advantage 74:72 for AZS Politechnika. Some time later, after Michał Nowakowski' free throws the guest were winning 79:74. Siarka Jezioro was weak in offence at that moment and the young guys from Warsaw took advantage from that. The team from Tarnobrzeg tried to change the score, but they were not effective.
Mateusz Ponitka shot 19 points for AZS Politechnika. Wojciech Barycz was the best player in Siarka Jezioro team, with 18 points.
