Harding Nana led the South team to a great victory against the North. He scored 24 points and had seven rebounds (five in offence). The first half of the game was better for the North, but in the end the South was better. Chris Burgess shot five points in a row close to the end, and a three-pointer by Cameron Bennerman set the score at 119:117.
Darnell Hinson was better than Andrzej Pluta and Ivan Koljcević in the final of the Spalding three-point shooting contest. He had 21 points, Pluta 19 and Koljević 18 (max 30 points). Łukasz Biedny, an amateur, surprisingly won the Tissot dunk contest. In the final round he competed with Cameron Bennerman and the winner from last year, Eddie Miller. Biedny jumped over a group of cheerleaders and the mascot and won the contest in great style!
The full Kalisz Arena saw a great show, with lots of fun and excitement. The holiday of basketball in Poland was successful and every fan of this sport is looking forward for the next one.
