Marcin Widomski is the new President of PLK SA

Marcin Widomski is a 39-year-old lawyer. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. In his youth he actively played basketball at the club AZS Lublin. He started working in the Polish Basketball Federation in 2001. In 2003-05 he worked at the International Basketball Federation FIBA Europe in Munich. From 2011 he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PLK SA and the General Manager of the Polish National Team. In the years 2011-14 he was a member of the Board of Polish Basketball Federation. Over the last few years as part of his duties he cooperated with the international basketball federation FIBA, NBA and NBA Europe. He is a member of the legal committee of FIBA Europe. He is fluent in three languages. He is married and has two children.
