Trefl Sopot – Asseco Prokom Gdynia 71:79 (1:3)
This game, for the first time in the finals, was very close. After couple of minutes in the second quarter Asseco Prokom was winning 26:18 (Przemysław Frasunkiewicz three-pointer). Trefl started in this moment to play better in defence and it helped them to get back in the game. At the end of this part of the game the team from Sopot was winning 33:32 after John Turek’s shot. Not for long. Asseco Prokom made an 9:0 run at the beginning of the third quarter. Trefl was ambitious and managed to get back one more time. Filip Dylewicz shot a three and the score was tied 41:41. Later they were loosing even 53:65 (Przemysław Zamojski’ shot), but had a chance to win in the end. Unfortunately for Trefl, Jerel Blassingame was unstoppable and his shot gave Asseco Prokom the win. The hosts had problems wit their efficiency closer to the basket and with turnovers.
The best player on the court was Jerel Blassingame, who had 21 points and 4 assists. Adam Waczyński shot 19 points for Trefl and Łukasz Koszarek added 16 points and 9 assists.
