It is a enormous success for Zastal – the first medal in the clubs history. The team from Zielona Góra tried to control the game from the beginning. The first quarter was very close and the teams could not gain any high advantage. That situation changed in the next part of the game. Walter Hodge and Kamil Chanas started to play better and more effective. After a shot made by the Polish guard the hosts were winning 35:26. Zastal had more offensive rebounds – they had more opportunities for their attack. After free throws made by Hodge the hosts were ahead even 50:39. PGE Turów played ambitious and tried to get back in the game in the last quarter. They have made it, but just a little while later Hodge made an and one action and Zastal was leading by 10 again.
Walter Hodge was named the MVP of the third place games series. In the last game he had 25 points and 5 assists. Arthur Lee had 16 points for PGE Turów Zgorzelec.
